No, no, no spanish isn't my native language. I study spanish as everyone no-native, I know that so many people think that in the Brazil we speak spanish but it is not true, our native language here is Portuguese. 
It's true both language are similar but isn't the same, I started to learn spanish language through TV shows and this is being good for me, I get understand better and practice my listening in spanish then I think maybe you can to make the same for improving your spanish too. I'll leave here some shows I watched and you gonna like.

1. Ingobernable


Emilia Urquiza (played by Kate Del Castillo) is the President's wife called Diego Nava (played by Erik Hayser), he's murdered in the same moment he were discussing with your wife in a hotel room and your his body was thrown upon of an car. The first lady is the focus on the serie, she start your own investigation in search for the true because for all the Mexico she is the devil and dangerous.

Teresa Mendoza (played by Alice Braga) is refugee to the America after your boyfriend be murdered in Mexico for be a drug-dealing. She start live running away of drug traffickers wants her life. She need to survive and get the top of the trafic of drugs.
This show is about the world of drugs on Mexico and show as is that internal world.
