Living in the State of Mato Grosso (Brazil) is a gift, but it has its pros and cons. But today I will try to say only the advantages of living in this prosperous state and country people, yes, we are that people with a mixture of all the other places of Brazil but that conserves the root.

Differently from other places in Brazil the Mato Grosso is a state where there is a lot of security, although we have growing up with the violencie in the cities, it is one of the things that has been occurring in recent years, but we have still a lot of security. I have traveled by many cities here and in all the people have a freedom to be able to carry their purse in your hands, to play with cell phone in the street, even in my city there are enough teenagers who walk in the streets with the loud sound in their smartphone. Although violence has grown in recent years, Mato Grosso is still very secure in relation to other states.
Simplicity
In Mato Grosso there are many cities where people are simple and hospitable and hosts their visitors and new residents. Cities such as Sinop, Matupá, Nova Xavantina, and the capital Cuiabá itself have people who are usually prestatives, many of these cities are also receiving people from many other states and places of the world, have made the culture of Mato Grosso be mixed together other cultures.
Tranquility
Mato Grosso have many a small town and full of great tranquilities. Because of a rural economy, small towns also have a cheaper cost of living, enabling them to have their own vegetable garden and animal husbandry.
Adventures
In several cities of Mato Grosso, the kind of things that are most common, the fishing is the first of them, in the city of Cáceres for example there is a Fisheries Festival ("Festival de Pesca" in portuguese) that is quite known in the State. When I was a child I went to the trail with my colleagues when I lived in Guarantã do Norte. There are also the Motocross, I went see a motocross in my childhood too. There are waterfalls, a city known for its waterfalls is the Chapada dos Guimarães. Older people used to go to hunt, the men who gather and hunt the most, usually eat these animals. These and other adventures that are popularies in Mato Grosso.

People from all over the Brazil come to live in Mato Grosso because we have foods from other places for exemplo we have Couscous of corn ("Cuscuz de milho" in portuguese), in Cuiabá have the cuiabano cake called in portuguese of "Chá com bolo". Still the "Galinhada" is typical from state of Minhas Gerais and Goiás, we eat here in Mato Grosso. These are some but we have many and many other.

The sertanejo is listened a lot in almost all the states in Brazil. This is a predominant musical style but in the Mato Grosso we have the "Moda de viola" and the "Sertanejo Universitário" is famous and is very clear the preference of the Matogrossenses by that style. An example is the Bruna Viola, known in the country for its viola fashions.
